Our Programmes

Our Programmes

Muse Pathways offers a structured yet flexible weekly programme, designed to support students in rebuilding confidence, re-engaging with learning, and developing real-life skills in a calm and supportive environment.

Students can attend on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on their needs and school agreement, with a balance of core learning and enrichment opportunities across the week.

Core Programme (Monday–Wednesday)

Our core days provide structured, supportive learning, helping students build routine, develop key skills, and re-engage with education in a more accessible way.

Students take part in:

  • Beauty theory and practical sessions

  • English and maths support, delivered by qualified tutors

  • Personal development and wellbeing support

Maths and English sessions are delivered in small groups through short, focused lessons, designed to support engagement and build confidence at an appropriate level.

Enrichment Programme (Thursday–Friday)

Our enrichment days offer a more flexible, experience-based approach to learning, designed to build confidence, broaden experiences, and support personal development.

These sessions follow a planned structure, while remaining adaptable to meet the needs and interests of students.

Enrichment may include:

  • Workshops with industry professionals

  • Hair, beauty, and creative sessions

  • Wellbeing activities such as yoga or mindset coaching

  • Life skills, communication, and confidence-building activities

Flexible Learning Pathways

We recognise that every student is different, and placements can be tailored to suit individual needs.

Students may attend:

  • Full-time (Monday–Friday: Core + Enrichment)

  • Part-time Core (Monday–Wednesday)

  • Part-time Enrichment (Thursday–Friday, alongside school)

Timetables can be adjusted where needed to ensure the most suitable and supportive placement for each student.

Rapid Response / Late Entry Support

Muse Pathways offers Rapid Response support for students who need an urgent placement or who are joining part-way through a term.

We understand that some students may need support quickly, particularly where there has been a breakdown in placement, increased disengagement, or a sudden need for a different learning environment. Our Rapid Response offer is designed to provide a calm, supportive transition into Muse Pathways without students feeling overwhelmed or left behind.

Each Rapid Response placement begins with a tailored induction and a review of the student’s current needs, strengths, and support requirements. From this, we create a personalised plan to help the student settle in, build confidence, and begin accessing the programme successfully.

Support may include:

  • A personalised induction into the setting

  • Additional check-ins and settling-in support

  • A structured catch-up plan where needed

  • Small group or more focused support during the early stages of placement

  • Close communication with the referring school and family

Rapid Response placements are flexible and may be used as a short-term intervention or as the start of a longer-term placement, depending on the needs of the student.

Our aim is to make the transition into provision feel safe, supportive, and well managed, while helping the student re-engage with learning as quickly and positively as possible.
