About Muse Pathways
Muse Pathways is built to be a calm, supportive, and modern alternative provision where students feel safe, understood, and able to move forward with confidence.
We are committed to creating an environment that feels different from traditional education settings, where students are not defined by their challenges, but supported in recognising their strengths and potential.
Our aim is to provide a space where young people can rebuild trust in learning, develop confidence in themselves, and feel a genuine sense of belonging. Through a balance of structure, support, and practical experiences, we help students take positive steps forward at a pace that works for them.
At Muse Pathways, we believe that with the right environment, approach, and support, every student has the ability to re-engage, grow, and succeed in their own way.

Muse Pathways was created from both professional experience and personal understanding of how challenging the education system can be for some young people.
As a parent, I have experienced first-hand how students, particularly those with additional needs such as ADHD, can feel misunderstood, unsupported, and disengaged within mainstream education.
Through both my professional and personal experience, I recognised a gap in education for young people who are capable, but struggle in traditional environments.
Many students are not failing, they are simply not being supported in a way that works for them. This has strengthened my belief that there needs to be a different more supportive way for young people to learn and thrive.
With over 10 years’ experience in the beauty industry as a nail technician, laser technician, beauty therapist, and salon manager, I developed a deep understanding of confidence, client care, and real-life skills.
I later moved into education, where I have spent the past two years teaching and supporting students in both group settings and one-to-one environments, including those with additional needs such as ADHD, autism, and anxiety.
Muse Pathways takes a different approach to learning, using beauty-led, practical experiences to help students re-engage in a way that feels accessible, relevant, and achievable. By focusing on hands-on learning, students are able to build confidence through doing, rather than sitting and listening. This creates opportunities for small, consistent wins, helping them to feel capable again and more open to learning.
Within this environment, students begin to develop important life skills such as communication, teamwork, responsibility, and independence, all within a setting that feels calm, supportive, and structured.
Over time, this approach supports students in building routine, improving focus, and developing a more positive relationship with both themselves and their learning. Many begin to see their own potential differently, gaining confidence not just in the classroom, but in who they are and what they are capable of achieving.
